«Dumbest question ever asked.....»
December January - last edited January The Divine-System is rather complex. Who becomes your Divine is more based on the decisions in your playthrough than who you decide to support. The way this works is, that all your actions shape the world which then votes the Divine most fitting for your world state and YOUR decision who officially to support on the war table just puts the Inquisition in the respective place towards that Divine, which will then be presented in the Epilogue.

Divine election - Dragon Age Wiki
Election of the Divine is done by the College of Clerics upon the death of the current Divine. Grand clerics are required to travel to Val Royeaux and convene until a new Divine is chosen. The vote must be unanimous. This page lists decisions that affect who is chosen as the Divine in Dragon Age: Inquisition. It contains major spoilers for the game and its epilogue. There are three candidates: Leliana , Cassandra and Vivienne if recruited. The election system works very similarly to the approval system, but is completely separate from it.

Okay, so I was nearing the end of my first Inquisition playthrough. You know when it makes you choose between Leliana, Cassandar, or even Vivienne, right? Still love her tho, but damn making her Hardened is scary How do I avoid that?
Each of Dragon Age: Inquisition 's conclusions lead the Chantry down different paths, and the results of this could have huge ramifications for the conflicts that players may take part in for Dragon Age 4. Its relationship with the Tevinter Imperium's Imperial Chantry will likely play an important role, particularly as it seems likely that the game will have considerable focus on Tevinter itself. If Vivienne, a powerful mage, became Divine at the end of Inquisition , there is a fascinating line of potential understanding to be had between her and the Black Divine, or perhaps a rivalry that inspires the game's next major conflict.
